KUALA LUMPUR: A “conspiracy” has been hatched to change the Malay language to Bengali in a move to “encroach” on Malay’s dominance in Chinese-majority areas, said an online portal called “Majilis Siang Hilir” (Defunct).
The portal said a group of non-Malay people formed a secret organisation and prepared to use the Malay language to draw people into their influence.
They had also prepared to embark on a campaign to pressure parents to send their children to Chinese-medium schools in order to “subjugate” them to Chinese culture.
“They thought that Malays will not raise their voice. But we are not afraid to speak the truth,” it said.
When it came to conquering Malay areas, the group had two strategies: “driving away Malays and Islamising the Malay culture”.
“They want to separate the Malays from the Malays, Allah and Malay culture,” it said.
It said the group wanted to drive away the Malays by giving them only Malay-language-medium schools, which it described as Chinese-language schools with only Chinese students.
In areas where Malays were already a minority, they could also use Islamisation to become a majority.
“They want to teach Islam in Malay-language medium. In this way, the Malays will feel sympathy for them and they can control the Malays without any problem,” it said.
The group had just posted three pamphlets containing information on its real identity, members and its plans on the Internet, it said.
The pamphlets that the group claimed to have posted on its Facebook page on June 22 and June 23.
Among the group’s posts were: “There is a group of non-Malays, they have plans to provoke Malays to steal their resources”, “The first step of our plan is to root out all the evil and corruption in this country”.
The group also claimed that the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) was behind the group.Researchers at the University of Michigan School of Nursing have discovered that patients with one of three specific types of anemia frequently show a decrease in physical activity levels that linger longer
