What is an easy way to discover pricing by volume?

I have a SQL Server 2008 R2 database which logs every time a customer buys something from my system. I want to be able to say: “What was the average price customers paid?”
It looks like the money data type has a Volume property, but I haven’t been able to find an easy way to get the average of that column.
I’m looking for something that will give me the average price for each day in the last 30 days. I’m a newbie to SQL Server, so if there’s a built in feature that can do this, I’m happy to use it!
Thank you for any help!

Here’s what you need to create a calendar table.
Table tblCal
(
dayDate DATETIME2 PRIMARY KEY
)

Insert into tblCal (dayDate)
SELECT DATEADD(day, DATEDIFF(day, 0, getdate()), 0)
UNION ALL
SELECT DATEADD(day, 1, dayDate)
FROM tblCal
WHERE dayDate = DATEADD(day, -30, GETDATE())
GROUP BY dayDate

)
Calculating average of moneyamount column is a little tricky. You should do a query where you first have to calculate the same for the current day and then subtract the current day’s average from the older day’s average.
UPDATE 2
Further, your

(To query for average, do a
SELECT dayDate, avg(moneyamount)
FROM

Mock Webservice in C# – Parameterized Test

In my C# project, I have a function, which uses a web service. Here is the signature of the web service’s method:
[WebMethod]
[OperationContract]
public string CreateSMSNotificationMessage(int id, string message, int subscriberId);

My service is tested using the WcfTestClient:
var client = new WcfTestClient();

client.Open();

var result = client.CreateSMSNotificationMessage(1, “message”, 2);

client.Close();

I want to test the CreateSMSNotificationMessage method. Therefore I do it in a UnitTest, using Moq. What I currently have is this:
[Test]
public void Test_CreateSMSNotificationMessage_ValidParams()
{
var expectedMessage = “message”;

var mock = new Mock();
mock.Setup(x => x.CreateSMSNotificationMessage(It.IsAny(), It.IsAny(), It.IsAny())).Returns(expectedMessage);

var client = new WcfTestClient(mock.Object);

var result = client.CreateSMSNotificationMessage(1, “message”, 2);

Assert.AreEqual(expectedMessage, result);
}

The problem is, that the WcfTestClient has an implicit implementation of IWebService. This way, I don’t need to create an interface implementation of this WebService and reference it as a mock in my UnitTest. However, the WcfTestClient assumes a non-parameterized WebService, which obviously doesn’t work out of the box.
I’m getting a lot of UnitTest code that has different setups of tests for different combinations of WebService parameters. So I’d like to have something more generic.
How can I do this?
